The PJW Holiday Gift Guide
/The holidays are upon us! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are looking forward to the December holidays. With Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa around the corner, I wanted to help those of you who aren’t fans of gift giving. I know that picking out gifts isn’t everyone’s favorite activity, so to help you, I’ve built out a healthy gift guide that is bound to have something for everyone on your list! I hope it makes your shopping experience a little easier. I’ve used all of these products and I can’t recommend them enough.
So, without further ado, here are 10 gifts I’m obsessed with (and a bonus five, for those who really have a lot of gifts to give!):
If you or someone you know is trying to log more steps or be more active—or they just need a new watch—the Fitbit Versa is the perfect gift! With a built-in GPS, heart rate monitor, and sleep tracker, this Fitbit gives you seriously helpful information about your health and habits, and for all you #PJWWalkingWarriors out there, it’s a great tool for logging your steps and walks.
2. Bindle Bottle Vacuum Insulated Water Bottle ($27.99)
Another wellness-minded gift: a solid water bottle! I love this Bindle one because it’s insulated (keeps liquids hot or cold), it’s leak-proof and it has a small compartment underneath to hold keys, cash, etc., which makes it a perfect bottle to take to the gym or on a walk. Plus, it comes in 12 different colors.
3. Homemade Cookies (cost of ingredients)
There’s something very special about a homemade gift—the time and love you put into it are gifts on top of the gift itself! Plus, if you have a tight budget for holiday spending, homemade gifts can help you keep your costs lower while still keeping happiness and gratitude high. My favorite homemade gift to give is a batch of homemade cookies, specifically these cookies from Rachael DeVaux.
4. Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Canceling Earbuds ($249)
Noise canceling headphones have become all the rage the last few years, and for good reason! (Who doesn’t love the ability to block out the world when they want to?) If you know someone who appreciates silence, be it for reading, listening to music, writing, etc., these are wonderful gifts. I personally prefer these earbuds over the headphones, but both are very high quality.
5. The Human Being Journal ($48)
As much as I love a planner with dates, this Human Being Journal has become my favorite. If someone in your life is into journaling, mindfulness, stress relief, well-being, or someone who is always super busy, this is a stellar gift for them. This planner will help them stay organized and stay grounded—and who doesn’t want that?
We all know someone who could use some new towels! Maybe you have a friend or family member who is a new homeowner or a newly wed… they would definitely appreciate these. They’re super soft, durable, and come in three neutral colors. Ten out of ten!
7. Old Whaling Co. Bath Bombs ($8 each, or $75 for a set of nine)
Need a stocker stuffer? These bath bombs are the move! You all know I’m a huge fan of baths, and these bath bombs are a cut above the rest. The scents aren’t overwhelming—they’re pleasant and appropriately mild. Each bath bomb is formulated with olive oil, which is moisturizing, and epsom salt, which is great for easing muscle soreness and chronic pain. Highly recommend these for whoever on your list could use a little self-care moment (or yourself!).
8. Acupressure Mat Set ($78)
Give someone you love the gift of pain relief this year! This acupressure set comes with a mat and a pillow, which can be used to relieve back pain, neck pain, and more. Acupressure is also great for stress relief, and there is no better set than this one.
9. Diptyque Candles ($72 to $84)
A mild, lovely scented candle is a gift that everyone loves. Diptyque offers a wide variety of scents, including limited edition seasonal scents, like pine tree, pumpkin, and two scents called snow and spark. Their packaging and presentation are beautiful, making them a gift anyone would feel grateful to receive.
Get yours here! They also have some scents on Amazon.
10. Mindfulness Card Set ($16.95)
Sometimes we need a conscious reminder to stop what we’re doing, and breathe. If you can relate, this gift is for you. This deck of Mindfulness cards has over 50 prompts and exercises is beautiful, insightful, and fun to use! They’re designed to help the user cultivate a sense of self-care and acceptance, as well as appreciate the little things.
11. Comfy Positive Saying Socks ($30 for set of three)
Who doesn’t need another pair of socks? We’re all guilty of losing them! These comfortable athletic socks have positive messages on the bottom, and they come in adorable colors. These make a great stocking stuffer, or small additional gift if you think you need something extra.
12. Mini Massage Gun ($60)
Want a massage gun, but don’t want to shell out hundreds for it? This mini Theragun alternative is amazing, and it’s on sale for $60 right now on Amazon! I’ve had a Theragun for a while, and I love it, but it’s pretty large and I think the Mini would’ve actually been a better choice. If you’re someone who deals with chronic pain or muscle soreness, or you have a friend who does, add this mini massager to cart ASAP.
Still have people on your list to buy for? Here are four extra gifts for you to consider:
Bala Bangles - small weights you can wear walking or during low impact workouts
Hydrow Rower - an indoor rowing machine for someone who loves working out at home
Brondell Pro Air Purifier - for your favorite homeowner or city dweller
Illola Tea - tea disks that you can put into infusers, without the mess of loose leaf
I hope this gift guide helps you get meaningful gifts you feel good about for the people you care about in your life. Happy holidays, everyone!
Xo,
Renata
