So, let’s talk about this month’s product...

Neocutis Lumiere (formerly Bio-restorative Eye Cream)

As we age, our skin loses elasticity, brightness, and other aesthetic characteristics associated with youth. Many of us develop wrinkles, age lines, crow’s feet, and our eyes begin to look weighed down or sunken in. Whether or not these signs of aging bother us, it can be discouraging to feel like our appearance is out of our control. That’s why I use the Neocutis Lumiere Eye Cream—one of the few skincare products I’ve found that actually delivers on its claims of anti-aging. 

Rarely do I find myself recommending a product that I’ve used for 15 years—because not many withstand the test of time—but that’s the case with this eye cream. Formerly known as the Neocutis Bio-restorative Eye Cream, this product has undergone a name and branding change, but maintains the same ingredients and unmatched effectiveness. It’s even offered at a lower price now! It’s still a splurge-y buy, but if any product is worth it, I’d say it’s this one.

Why I Love It

Neocutis Lumiere is a clinical rejuvenating eye cream that utilizes processed skin proteins (PSP) to boost our skin’s ability to repair itself. It also contains ingredients like vitamin E, vitamin C, caffeine, and hyaluronic acid. Vitamin E is known for reducing UV damage, and when combined with vitamin C, it can help your skin protect itself from environmental damage, even out your skin tone, and revitalize your complexion. The caffeine in the eye cream helps combat puffiness and under eye circles, while the hyaluronic acid provides moisture and fine line reduction (it’s what gives you that glowy, dewy look). 

I’ve used this product for almost two decades, starting in a preventative capacity, and I’m happy to say that I’ve more or less avoided developing age lines around my eyes altogether (and yes, I’m 63!). With regular use, I’ve experienced brighter, firmer skin around my eyes, which has resulted in a more youthful, less tired appearance. 

The best part? It’s designed to work for any skin type—whether you have oily, dry acne prone, combination, mature or sensitive skin. Plus, it’s gentle enough to be used both in the morning and in the evening (this is what I do to maximize results)!

The outcome, in my experience, far outweighs the costs of this product, especially now that the price has been slashed by $40. You can purchase it through a physician, or through online retailers like Dermstore and Amazon.
